Making Room for More
This year has been an incredible year of expansion. From growth in our Sunday services to expansion in our ministries and outreach efforts in the community and throughout the city. We’ve continued to invest in our physical location on Summer Avenue enabling it to continue to serve as a resource to our community. But as we end this year, our calling is clear, we must EXPAND, and make room for more.
On Sunday, December 7th, we are encouraging every person connected to BELIEVING to come, prepared to give, so that we can EXPAND in three tangible ways, and make room for more. This offering will kick off our season of “year-end” giving, and help fuel the expansion efforts of 2026.
“Enlarge the site of your tent, and let your tent curtains be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes, and drive your pegs deep. For you will spread out to the right and to the left, and your descendants will dispossess nations and inhabit the desolate cities.”
PROJECT 1: Expand the Auditorium
In order to serve our growing attendance on Sundays, host larger events for our community and make room for larger outreach efforts, we need to expand our auditorium… and we’ve been planning to since the start. We will do this by moving the “front wall” of the auditorium back into the storage area behind it. Doing this will enable us to reconfigure our stage, access to the storage area and add significant seating and square footage to our auditorium.
PROJECT 2: Expand our Outreach
One of the most tangible ways we live “Here for Good” is through the continual giving that happens through BELIEVING. From parties for the community to projects that are made possible to needs that are met, outreach isn’t something we do, it’s who we are. This year, we need to make two significant outreach expansions:
Grocery PickUps: The cost of operating these has gone up significantly, making it difficult for many organizations to keep serving in this way. We know, we’re called to do more. We want to add to our monthly distribution and increase our total families served by an additional 100 families, or 400 more people a month who receive fresh, free groceries through us.
Missions Partners: We want to help fund new people and projects in our city and around the world who serve the kingdom of God as missionaries. We’re already planning this from a monthly, budgetary perspective, but we want to bring an initial blessing to each sharing the love and generosity that is done by BELIEVING.
PROJECT 3: Expand everything Online
This fall, we took a step towards “more” online by investing in and preparing to serve people online with our services, sermons and more… and the response has been tremendous! We know, this is just the start, and to take our next step, we need to add to what we’ve already done by increasing the number of cameras we use in services, building our infrastructure to serve more people in a better way and enabling us to be ready for whatever God has next.
Giving in the Offering
On December 7th, we will all come ready to give, but if you would like to give at any time in the EXPAND Offering, you can do so by indicating “EXPAND” on your online giving, check memo or envelope and it will be applied to this initiative. 100% of the funds raised will go to these projects.
We thank God for your prayers, consideration and sacrificial generosity so that BELIEVING can make more room for more people, so that all people are transformed in Christ.

How much should all of this cost?
That’s a great question. We have specific costs for certain things. For example, our online expansion needs will run right at $10,000, while other items are fluid… like the construction work in the auditorium. However, we believe that between $75,000 and $100,000 given will enable us to do everything outlined well.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Absolutely. BELIEVING is a 501[c][3] organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Can I donate through my business?
Of course. You’re welcome to contact the office for clarity, but like personal donations, it too would b tax deductible.
What happens if we raise more than we need? Where does the extra go?
Great question. Our vision is always greater than our present and the need to EXPAND carries on. We have a dozen other projects, needs and opportunities we see and who knows what only God sees right now. That said, any extra will go to help BELIEVING continue the work to EXPAND by making room for more.
